Today October 14th, 2016 is exactly one year the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has being in detention.
Kanu was arrested on October 14th, 2015 by the Department of State
Service, DSS at his hotel apartment in Lagos while he was heading to his
home town, Isiama Afara-Ukwu Ibekwu in Umuahia Abia State, from his
London based home.
At first, the DSS denied knowing his whereabouts, but after much
pressure, the embattled IPOB leader was arraigned in Abuja magistrate
court where his unconditional release was ordered.
Trailed by Federal Government's flouting of court orders, he was again
granted bail by a another high court in Abuja, his bail conditions were
met, but unfortunately he was yet not released.
Since then, Kanu has faced several charges amidst the heavy drama that
played on in his legal team and even the Nigerian judiciary.
Recall that the Judge hearing the six count charge against Kanu, Justice
John Tsoho recently stepped down following petitions against him by
Kanu's legal team headed by one Barr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor.
Just recently, DSS also raided homes of several federal Judges in the country whom the secret police accused of corruption.
Let's together watch the drama as it unfolds....
Do you think Kanu will be exonerated from all the charges brought against him by FG?
